Explore the art of David Van Delinder at the Coliseum Museum’s Lowden Gallery through February 28, featuring traditional and classical works from landscapes to portraits by the Cherry Valley–based artist.
The Coliseum Museum of Art, Antiques & Americana (CMAAA) in Oregon presents an exhibition of works by artist David Van Delinder in the Lowden Gallery, running January 1 through February 28.
Van Delinder’s artistic journey began in the music world, performing with notable Chicago folk musicians before transitioning to visual art. After a career as a senior art director in Chicago, he became a freelance illustrator and designer. His fine art reflects traditional technique and classical composition, with pen-and-ink drawings, impressionistic florals, landscapes, and classical oil portraits on display. Van Delinder also creates commissioned work in oil, pastel, charcoal, and pen and ink. He lives and works in Cherry Valley, Illinois.
