Eagle Watch Weekend

This event will offer many programs, activities and exhibits occurring simultaneously at four locations: Starved Rock Lodge, Illinois Waterway Visitors, Utica Village Hall Gym, and the Starved Rock State Park Visitors Center, which are all within a short driving distance.

If you’ve never witnessed seeing an Eagle in person, this will be the perfect event for you. Gather up the entire family and make this a fun family weekend surrounded by nature.

Winter Guided hikes will be offered both days departing at 10am from the lobby of Starved Rock Lodge. Tickets for hikes are $20 and include souvenir backpack, granola bar, water and a voucher for a hot chocolate. Booking by phone or on the Starved Rock Lodge website is required.

The Starved Rock Trolley will run throughout the weekend (from 9am to 4pm, both days). Trolley wristbands are $5.00 each and allow passengers unlimited rides from the Lodge to the Visitor Centers. Purchase wristbands as you board the trolley.
