This group camp area at Rend Lake is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers and offers a variety of camping options and recreational facilities. It even has a private beach! Reserve it for family reunions, retreats and other group events.
The Rend Lake Dale Miller Group Camp Area is perfect for groups of all ages. It has 5 cabins, each with 4 bunk beds, 1 of which is an accessible bed. Each of the 9 RV/trailer sites has a full hook-up and a 50-amp electric pedestal. The restroom facilities include a mini shower.
The recreational facilities include a private sandy beach, boat mooring, enclosed shelter with fire place, a group fire ring, an obstacle course, activity clusters, a baseball/softball field, and a combination tennis/basketball court. Most of the facilities are accessible to persons with disabilities.
Reservations for the Rend Lake Dale Miller Camp Area Reservations can be made up to 365 days in advance. Contact the National Recreation Reservation System (NRRS) at toll free number 1-877-444-6777 or TDD 1-877-833-6777 or on the Internet at www.recreation.gov. A credit card must be used to pay fees by phone or on-line. All fees must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.
America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Senior, Access, Military, Annual, and 4th Grader passes are available through this program and allow for free entrance and day use at Federally-managed facilities. The Senior and Access pass also provides a 50% discount on camping fees. These passes can be obtained at the Rend Lake Project Office.
