On Saturday, Oct. 25, downtown Byron will be filled with the aroma of simmering chili during the annual Byron Chamber ChiliFest. Gates open at 11 a.m., with chili tasting beginning at noon alongside live music from Tall Expectations. Guests can sample a variety of chilis and cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award. Tasting tickets are $10, and children 10 and under eat free.
Stuff for all ages! The festival also offers family-friendly activities, including a face painter, pumpkin decorating, and coloring stations for kids.
