The Owl House
116 South Bench Street, Galena, IL 61036
Vacation Rentals
Originally built as a warehouse circa 1850, the Owl House has since been completely renovated into a modern and comfortable living space with industrial elements and charm.
Nestled on historic Bench Street in downtown Galena, The Owl House offers a fully-renovated 1840s home for rent, just steps from Main Street’s boutique shops, gourmet dining and vibrant nightlife. This 1,200-sq-ft luxury retreat sleeps up to four, with two floors of original exposed ceilings, brick and stone walls, a sun-porch and private deck for relaxing after your Driftless Region adventures.
“Everything about our stay was perfect — the location, the decor, the finishing touches made it feel like a true home away from home.” - Gary M.
Modern amenities include reserved parking, high-end linens, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and sweeping access to Galena’s historic charm. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway or a family escape, The Owl House delivers authentic, upscale lodging in a historic setting.
