Held yearly since 1888, the Sandwich Fair in DeKalb County is one of the oldest continuing county fairs in the state of Illinois. The fair's beautiful tree-lined grounds is an exciting destination for all ages!
The Sandwich Fair first started as an annual livestock show in DeKalb County. Held the Wednesday through Sunday after Labor Day since 1888, Sandwich Fair is one of the oldest continuing county fairs in Illinois! Large crowds stroll throughout the beautiful tree-lined grounds all five days of the fair which has something for everyone, including a carnival, live music, truck pulls, and more.
The Sandwich Fair features carnival rides, mouth-watering fair foods, and exhibitors and vendors from all over the Midwest. Entertainment and attractions such as NTPA Truck & Tractor Pulls, Harness Racing, Livestock Judging, Antique Car Show, Demolition Derby, and Culinary Competitions prove to be thrilling for all ages. This year enjoy headliner, Warren Zeiders on Friday, September 5.
