The McCormick Tribune Bridgehouse, perched above the Chicago River, houses a historic mechanical clock and observation deck. It connects the Michigan Avenue bridge’s lift mechanism and offers unique urban and architectural views.

Climb the five-story historic tower on the Michigan Ave. bridge and learn how the Chicago River changed with the city it inspired. You can also view the massive gears that allow the bridge to open. Seasonal May-Oct. Illinois 2025
