Looking for Lincoln coordinates the 43-county Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area in partnership with the Lincoln Home National Historic Site. We share Lincoln’s Illinois story—where he lived, worked, and traveled. Collaborating with communities and organizations, we help preserve and celebrate central Illinois’s natural, cultural, and historical legacies. Abraham Lincoln’s journey from humble roots to the presidency continues to inspire millions worldwide through his integrity, leadership, and role in guiding a divided nation through its greatest crisis.
