Experience the magic of the holidays at Centennial Park with dazzling light displays, wagon rides, a food drive, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Celebrate the season at the 6th Annual Holiday Light Display at Centennial Park, running Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 28 to December 27, 2025. Cruise through more than 20 sparkling light installations created by local businesses, schools, community organizations, and churches. It’s a festive, family-friendly way to soak up the holidays close to home.
Special dates to know:
Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides: Saturday, November 29, 5:30–8:30 p.m. Enjoy an old-fashioned ride through the lights. Note: No vehicles will be allowed in the park during this event.
Sauk Valley Foodbank Canned Food Drive: Friday, December 5. Guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable items to support neighbors in need.
Visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus: Friday, December 12, 5:30–8:30 p.m. Stop by for photos and wish-list sharing.
Dress for the weather and check for updates before you go. Whether you’re making a night of it with the wagon rides or simply wandering under the glow, Centennial Park’s Holiday Light Display is a bright spot on the winter calendar.
