The world-renowned Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) performs at the grand Symphony Center on Michigan Avenue in the Loop. The CSO was led for 13 years by Music Director Riccardo Muti, who at the end of his tenure in 2023 was named Music Director Emeritus for life.
